Self-injurious behaviour among persons with moderate to profound intellectual disabilities is one of the most challenging behaviours. In this course you will learn about why self-injurious behaviour occurs in persons with intellectual disability. You will also learn about intervention stategies, as well as specific interventions.
Zelfverwondend gedrag is een van de moeilijkste gedraging om mee om te gaan. Het is moeilijk om te zien en vaak moeilijk om te veranderen. Deze cursus bevat een e-learning over het begrijpen van en interveniëren bij zelfverwonding. Ook zijn er enkele portretten, casussen en presentaties in opgenomen.
